What counts as a public sauna here?
A sauna anyone can book or walk into: a single session, a day pass, or a membership open to the public. Gyms, hotel spas and massage studios with a sauna on the side are left out.
Why are infrared studios listed separately?
Infrared rooms heat your body with panels at lower air temperatures than a traditional sauna. It’s a different experience, so each city page lists them in their own section. Infrared vs traditional.
How are the saunas checked?
We start from Google Maps listings, drop gyms, hotels and other businesses where the sauna is a side feature, then open every remaining business’s own website to note its type, price, cold plunge and booking rules. Last check: September 28, 2026. How we list.
